Scope:

1.This project involves the extension of the ∮1500mm water transmissio along the floodplain outside the Xindian River levee near the Xindian Riverside Expressway, connecting to the existing Anhua–Xindian Line ∮1500mm Water Transmission Pipeline Shield Turnkey Project.

2.Connections are made to two existing ∮1000mm pipelines along the south side of the Xindian end of Xiulang Bridge on the right bank of the Xindian River levee.

3.A ∮1500mm reserved pipeline is pre-installed at Xiyuan Road (No. 2 working shaft).

Benefits:

1.This project establishes an interconnected backup pipeline system between Xindian and the Zhonghe–Yonghe area, providing backup water supply to approximately 840,000 residents and reducing water supply risk.

2.It also supports Phase II of the central government’s Banxin water supply project, increasing water supply capacity for New Taipei City and achieving the goal of high-quality water resource sharing across Greater Taipei.
