Pipeline: ∮4,000 mm prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) with steel lining. Civil Works:
Includes the tunnel section, upstream drop structure, culverts and tunnel portals, downstream drop structure and outlet portal, downstream culvert section (including revetment works, concave slope backfilling, drainage, and vegetation), desilting and overflow shaft, residual water channel, civil works for the distribution chamber, landscaping for the distribution chamber, fire protection and sanitary water piping, architectural finishes for the distribution chamber, and hydraulic equipment.
Benefits:
Designed to support the future construction of the No.6 water treatment facility at Zhitan, the No.2 raw water trunks system provides a transmission capacity of 2.7 million cubic meters per day. It addresses the limited delivery capacity of the existing No.1 raw water trunks and serves as a backup system during anomalies or scheduled maintenance shutdowns.
