Scope:
The entire pipeline was constructed using the shield tunneling method with segmental lining. After completing the shield tunnel, ∮1500mm U-type Ductile Iron Pipes (DIP) of Class 3 were installed within the tunnel. The work was divided into three sections, executed simultaneously with three tunnel boring machines. Shield tunnel section breakdown:
1.A2 to A1 (Minquan Park to Minsheng Booster Station):
Pipeline length from 0K+000 to 0K+602.635; tunnel length: 605.9 meters
2.A2 to A4 (Minquan Park to Minquan Bridge floodplain):
Pipeline length from 0K+613.635 to 2K+044.900; tunnel length: 1,426.1 meters
3.C1 to C4 (Changshou Pumping Station to Nanhu Bridge floodplain):
Pipeline length from 0K+000 to 1K+609.229; tunnel length: 1,611.9 meters
Benefits:
1. This project provides regular water supply to the Nangang supply zone and supports future water demand in the Nangang Economic and Trade Park. It is also connected to the Xizhi water supply system to ensure mutual support.
2. The project connects the Minsheng and Neihu supply zones via water transmission pipelines, forming a backup system between zones and enhancing flexibility in water supply allocation.
