Scope:
The project encompasses both civil and electromechanical works, primarily including the construction of a 28,000-ton underground distribution reservoir and an underground pump room for booster equipment, the installation of associated mechanical equipment and electrical instrumentation and control systems, the relocation of water supply pipelines within the site (including the relocation of the No.1 Water Trunk), internal station pipeline works, construction of a parking lot, and landscaping of all above-ground facilities (in coordination with the overall layout of the Taipei Expo Park). The project also involves the relocation of electromechanical facilities affected by the demolition of the Taipei Expo Park’s welcome plaza, as well as structural reinforcement of the existing the No.2 pump room at the Datong Booster Station.
Benefits:
1.The project addresses the water supply needs of the Danhai New Town, Shezi Island, and Guandu Plain development areas.
2.It also serves as a backup supply system for the Datong Booster Station, ensuring stable water supply to Taipei City’s Datong, Zhongshan, Shilin, and Beitou Districts.
